MATCH PREVIEW – QUEEN’S PARK (H)

After last Saturday’s enforced free week after our game at Coatbridge was postponed after failing a pitch inspection we return to action on Saturday when we host Queen’s Park for the final time this season with a 3 p.m. kick off.

So far we have had the better of the previous meetings with a win a two draws in the three games.

A goal less draw at Hampden was followed by a 2-0 home win in November with second half goals from Kris Renton and Josh Skelly.

The return to Hampden last month saw another draw with Scott McLean scoring a last minute penalty to cancel out Matt Henvey’s opener.

Successive wins over Berwick, 2-1 and Elgin 4-1 coupled with two extra points gained after they were awarded a win over Clyde has seen the Spiders move five points ahead of us in the table having played a game more.
