MATCH PREVIEW - CLYDE (A)

After the disappointment of last Friday's Scottish Cup tie with Rangers being postponed we get back into action on Saturday when we face Clyde at Broadwood Stadium with a 3 p.m. kick off.

This is our second visit of the season to Cumbernauld following an opening day 2-0 defeat with Martin McNiff and David Goodwillie scoring for the Bully Wee. Two games between the sides at Central Park have since followed with a 2-1 home win in the Scottish Cup and a 1-1 league draw.

The Scottish Cup tie in October saw goals from Robbie Deas and David Cox putting us 2-0 up before Goodwillie pulled a goal back for Danny Lennon's side. The league game in December saw Jordan Allan put us ahead before John Rankin equalised.

We go into the match with two wins in 2019 - 2-0 over Berwick and 4-1 at Elgin a fortnight ago in our last outing. Clyde's recent form has been impressive with five straight wins and ten games unbeaten overall with their last defeat coming against Peterhead in October when the Blue Toon ran out 3-1 winners at Broadwood.
