The Blue Brazil ended their recent run of defeats with a 0-0 draw at Ochilview in a dour match that saw both sides reduced to 10 men.

The home side edged the first half but never came close to troubling the Cowden rearguard with Joe Mbu back at the heart of the defence.

The game swung in Cowden's favour when Pat Scullion was dismissed for a second booking just three minutes after the interval. Shortly after Chris McLuskey pulled of a top class point blank save to deny Paul McQuade but Cowden were unable to find a winning goal despite dominating possession.

Kenny Adamson became the second player to see red after he fouled a Stenny player on the edge of the box - deemed to be a goal scoring opportunity -  in the final minute.
