MATCH PREVIEW EDINBURGH CITY (A)

After drawing with bottom side Albion Rovers last Saturday at Central Park we now face league leaders Edinburgh City at Ainslie Park with a 3pm kick off on Saturday.

City have made their best ever start to an SPFL campaign with six wins out of seven in their games so far with their only defeat coming at Elgin last month which sees them sit two points ahead of Clyde.

Since that defeat in Moray City have went onto win seven league and cup games, eight if you count a City Cup semi final win over Lothian Thistle.

Since joining the SPFL in 2016 all four of our away games against City have seen two draws with two each at Meadowbank and Ainslie Park, indeed we have lost only once to the Citizens in the capital back in season 1937/38 which until recent times had been their only win over us.
