After an enforced break last Saturday after Borough Briggs failed a late pitch inspection by the match referee, we get back into action on Saturday with another away game against Queen's Park at Hampden Park with a 3pm kick off.
Its just over two years since we last visited the famous Mount Florida stadium for a play off game which saw us go down 2-0 with Chris Duggan scoring twice and although we won the second leg 1-0 at Central Park courtesy of a Greig Spence goal we suffered a second successive relegation.
The Spiders went onto beat Clyde for a place in League One and remained there until last season when they lost out in the play offs themselves to eventual winners Stenhousemuir.
In regular league football you have to go back to August 2004 to find the last time we suffered a defeat at Hampden when we went down 3-2 when two late goals gave the Spiders a dramatic win.
The current season has seen Gus McPherson's side collect seven points from their opening four games which see's them sit in fifth place.
The Spiders have been undefeated on home soil so far this season in open play with their only Hampden defeat coming in a Betfred Cup group match with Premiership side St Mirren which they lost 5-4 on penalties following a goal less draw.
In their other Betfred Cup games they beat Spartans 2-1 but lost on the road to both Dumbarton (0-1) and Kilmarnock (0-2), while in the Irn Bru Cup they beat Championship high flyers Ayr United 4-2 on penalties after another goal less home game.
The league season opened with a 1-1 draw up at Peterhead which was followed by a home 1-0 win over Berwick. A 3-1 defeat at Annan followed before last week's 2-0 home win over Albion Rovers.
Kyle Miller starts a two game suspension and will also miss our home game with Peterhead in a fortnight's time after his sending off in our last game with Berwick.
