It has been a quiet time for the Youth Academy recently with much of the programme falling victim to the weather over December and January and all age levels have a fixture back log.
The under 19s returned to action a fortnight ago with a defeat away to Stenhousemuir but followed this up on Sunday with a 3-2 win over Queen of the South in Dumfries thanks to a double for Scottish Schoolboy cap Rory Emslie and a Kyle Miller goal. The 19s have a home fixture this weekend when they face Morton at Star Hearts - 1pm kick-off.
Meanwhile, promising full-back Jamie Pyper (16) has joined the club from Hutchison Vale B.C while Dean Brett (pictured) has joined his home town team Tranent Juniors on loan until the end of the season. Dean spent the early part of the season with Rosyth Juniors and has been a regular for the reserves and 19s.
The under 13s were in friendly action on Friday night and recorded a comprehensive victory over neighbours Raith Rovers.
