We head to Inverurie on Saturday afternoon to face Cove Rangers at Harlaw Park in the first leg of the Ladbrokes League Two play off final with a 3pm kick off.
After winning the Highland League for the second time in three years, they lost out last season on goal difference to Buckie, Cove overcame Lowland League champions Spartans 5-2 on aggregate in the Pyramind Play off final with a 4-0 win in Inverurie last Saturday while the went down 2-1 on Tuesday night at Ainslie Park.
This is the second time that Cove have been involved in the play offs - two years ago they lost out 4-1 on aggregate to Edinburgh City losing 3-0 at Harlaw Park and drawing 1-1 at Meadowbank Stadium with City eventually progressing to the SPFL after beating East Stirlingshire.
We have met Cove twice previously in the Scottish Cup with both ties taking place at their old ground Allan Park, which is now a housing estate with the club due to move to their new Balmoral Stadium at the start of next season, with each side winning a game.
In January 1991 we came from behind to win the first ever Scottish Cup tie at Allan Park 2-1 but four years later went down by a similar score.
Fraser Mullen completes a two game suspension on Saturday but will be eligible for the second leg at Central Park next Saturday.
