DAVID BREWSTER

This week’s Blue Brazilian programme contains a tribute to Dave Brewster reflecting on his memorial service last week which was both moving and uplifting.

AGM & SHARE CERTIFICATES

Calling notices for the club’s AGM to be held at Central Park on Monday 14 May at 7pm now being issued. Invites are also going out to new shareholders who donated via Club 135 and it is hoped their Share Certificates can be signed off and then sent out this weekend.

FIFE FA

AGM held yesterday. David Allan of Cowdenbeath FC was re-elected Chairman. Kelty Hearts have joined the Fife FA taking the membership to 6 teams and they open with a home tie v Raith Rovers. Cowdenbeath are drawn to make a return visit to Burntisland. Interestingly the news from the East of Scotland FA AGM suggests that 3 new Fife teams may have been accepted into the League as a raft of new clubs have decided to turn senior to play in the pyramid structure – junior sides Hill of Beath Hawthorn, Crossgates Primrose and amateur side Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts. Thus there may be more applications for membership of Fife FA in the next year or so.
