After the postponement of the Montrose game on Tuesday night hopefully we will get back into action on Saturday when we host another one of League Two's high flyers when Clyde make their second visit to Central Park in ten days with a 3 p.m. kick off.
Their last visit of course saw a 3-0 win for the Bully Wee, their first league success at Central Park in almost 36 years, with the latest member of the McStay Scottish footballing dynasty Chris scoring a brace along with David Goodwillie.
That was the second time the Bully Wee have beaten us since former manager Danny Lennon took over the helm at Broadwood following on from a 2-0 win in Cumbernauld with Goodwillie hitting a second half brace.
Earlier in September a Harvey Swann penalty deep into stoppage time cancelled out Smart Osadolor's opener in a 1-1 draw.
Their Central Park win took Clyde into the promotion play off spots but following last weeks 3-0 defeat at league leaders Peterhead Lennon's side have dropped back into sixth place.
Last Saturdays home draw with Stenhousemuir saw us still ten points adrift of Berwick at the bottom but following Edinburgh City's 3-0 defeat at Montrose we cut the deficit on the Ainslie Park side to ten points with us playing a game less that the capital side.
On Saturday Berwick host Peterhead with City at home to Stenhousemuir.
