CRAIG HENDERSON

We have agreed with Livingston to terminate Craig’s loan and he has now returned to Almondvale.

CLUB MEDICAL STANDARDS

In respect of SFA Licensing – we have been rated at Silver standard after a good deal of hard work in meeting the criteria that now apply.

ALAN SMART

Our Board colleague left the Royal Bank of Scotland at the end of this week after 33 years with the Bank.

FIFE CUP TIE

Match at Central Park on Wednesday evening – Fife Cup v Raith Rovers – with kick off at 7.30 pm. A 32 page special programme will be on sale with no adverts included and a number of special articles.

GDPR

David Allan attended the General Data Protection Regulation meeting at Hampden – this goes live in May and a fair bit of work is required now in house in establishing our policies and processes and documenting/implementing these.

SPFL MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

SPFL clubs need to comply with various SPFL membership requirements by the end of March – these include Financial Disclosures, home ground for next season, any proposal for a plastic pitch, any overdue payables, etc – soon after the SFA’s annual licensing process will commence – thus a good deal of work. The club’s annual financial accounts will also be subject to audit in March – a very busy month!

CHILD WELLBEING

Licensing audits are looking carefully at how clubs are meeting the requirements of the SFA Board Directive on Child Wellbeing and Protection. This includes requirements such as many of the staff sitting an e-learning course, subscribing to a Code of Conduct, having published policies and maintaining suitable registers, etc. Another area for all clubs where a good deal of work has been undertaken in the last year or two.

COMMUNICATIONS

The club is now finalising arrangements to allow us to move ahead by coordinating and then cascading key messages and actions via EGM, press, fan meeting, website relaunch, social media, video – under the banner of ‘Honour the Past, Ensure a Future’.
