Annan Athletic are the visitors to Central Park on Saturday afternoon with a 3 p.m. kick off as new manager Gary Bollan takes charge of the side for the first time.

Gary's first task will be to halt a run of six successive league and cup defeats as well as looking for our first win on home soil since we beat Edinburgh City back on 12th August.

With it also being the only game in the division it also gives us the opportunity to leapfrog Edinburgh City who sit two points ahead of us with the sides due to meet at Ainslie Park next week.

Our last meeting with Annan was at Galabank at the tail end of September and ended in a 1-0 win for the home side with Aiden Smith scoring the only goal of the afternoon.

It was the second successive game that the former QOS forward had scored the winning goal against us having done likewise back in March in another 1-0 defeat in Dumfriesshire.

Annan currently sit in seventh place after the opening 12 games with 15 points leaving them seven points off the play off spot and ten ahead of us.

New signing on loan from Ross County Blair Malcolm goes straight into Bollan's first match day squad after completing his move on Friday afternoon but the new boss will be without both Fraser Mullen and David Syme who are suspended after being sent off in last week's 3-1 home defeat from Elgin.

Our visitors will also be without last week's scorer in their 1-1 draw at Montrose Steven Swinglehurst after he was also sent off at Links Park.
