The ever-popular Cowdenbeath FC annual Sportsman’s Dinner will take place at Lochgelly Town Hall on Friday 27th October with a 7.30pm kick off. The event will be hosted by Cowdenbeath FC Chairman Donald Findlay QC. Our guest speakers this year will be former top Scottish referee Brian McGinley who officiated in 21 Old Firm matches and in the European and International football arenas together with Stewart Smith the talented sketch writer of comedy material for BBC, radio and television who has become one of the most popular speakers in Scotland. Tickets are available now from Central Park and we ask all fans to come along on the night and support the club at this event. Tickets cost just £30 – indeed why not book a table and have a grand night out with your friends and fellow fans. Events such as these are part of the lifeblood of the club and the Club’s previous Sportsman’s Dinners are widely acknowledged as having been highly entertaining and enjoyable evenings.
There will also be an auction on the night with some fantastic memorabilia on offer from the worlds of football, tennis, darts, boxing, rugby, etc. Once again primarily sourced by the amazing and indefatigable Zoe Smith on behalf of Cowdenbeath FC and its followers.
