MATCH PREVIEW - CLYDE (A)

Posted September 23, 2017

We start a run of two back to back away league games when we meet Clyde at Broadwood Stadium on Saturday afternoon with a 3 p.m. kick off.

It's a much changed Bully Wee side we will face from the side which we beat three times last season with new boss Jim Chapman making wholesale changes to the squad after his close season move from Annan with several players following him from the Galabank side.

Clyde currently sit two places and three points above us in the table with seven points from their opening six games. Their two wins this season have been against Chapman's old side Annan. 2-1 at Broadwood, and an impressive 3-2 win over early leaders Stirling Albion at Forthbank.

They have also had a home 1-1 draw with Stenhousemuir while their two defeats have come at Berwick 1-3 and at home to Edinburgh City when they went down 3-2 last Saturday when ended the match with ten men after Andy Munro was sent off in stoppage time and he will miss the game due to suspension.

Top scorer this season is former Scotland internationalist David Goodwillie with four goals.
