Brad for Blue Brazil and a Tannadice Return

Saturday's trialist v Edinburgh City was Brad Smith who plays as a left sided midfielder or in behind the strikers. Brad recently sought his release from Dundee United after a number of years at Tannadice as he was keen to play regular first team football.
He had already made a couple of appearances in United's 1st XI and also had a brief spell on loan with Albion Rovers last season. Manager Billy Brown has now concluded a deal for the season with the 20 year old Dundonian and he thus becomes our latest new signing. A warm welcome indeed to Brad from everyone at the Blue Brazil.
Of course, Brad also enjoys a rapid return to Tannadice as Cowden visit Dundee this evening for an Irn Bru Cup fixture v United. Entry prices for this match which kicks off at 7.45pm are £10 adults/£5 concessions.
Cowden fans will be hosted in Section D of the Jerry Kerr Stand. Manager Billy Brown has a few injury doubts for tonight whilst David Syme is suspended and Ben Stirling will play for Hibs Colts in this competition.
