Cowdenbeath FC can now confirm that Kenny Adamson is leaving Central Park and is joining East Superleague Champions Kelty Hearts. The Lumphinnans-based left back has been here with his local club for a decade after joining us from Livingston in 2007. Kenny has been a loyal and consistent player for Cowden and has made 241 league appearances for Cowdenbeath FC - only 5 players can top that. He has shared in many great days with us at Cowdenbeath including promotions, a title success, play off victories and playing in the Championship. He was Cowdenbeath FC Player of the Year in 2013.
Kenny of course has been troubled by injury in recent times and thus was missing from the side all last season. He now looks forward to a new challenge just up the road at Kelty. He left us today after giving his sincere thanks to the Chairman and the Board for all that has been done for him at the club. We will all miss Kenny and he will always get a warm welcome back here at Cowdenbeath. We wish him well on behalf of everyone at Central Park and all our fans and look forward to seeing him back in the fray up at Kelty. Our thanks go to a great club servant.
