MATCH PREVIEW - CLYDE (A)
Posted March 20, 2017
After Saturday's home defeat against Montrose we are quickly back into league action on Tuesday night when we face Clyde at Broadwood wth a 7.45 p.m. kick off in the first of two away games this week.
While we were going down the Gable Endies Clyde came from being down at the interval to beat Edinburgh City 3-1 to move above the capital side on goal difference in what was their first league win since 19th November when they beat Berwick 3-2 also at Broadwood.
Co-manager Peter MacDonald, who is now in charge of the side along with John Paul McGovern since the departure of Barry Ferguson, hit a brace along with Matt Flynn on Saturday but will go into Tuesday's encounter minus David Gormley and Martin McNiff who both serve one game suspensions.
The two previous meetings this season have seen home wins for each side. Back in late August we went down 5-3 at Broadwood but were 1-0 winners in early December in what was our last win.
Since then form has been poor for both sides with Clyde falling from third place, taking only six points from their subsequent 14 games while we have fallen from sixth to bottom with slightly better seven points from the last 14 outings.
