Mackay out after op

Danny Mackay will be out of action for 6-9 months after injuring his cruciate against East Stirling in the 1st leg semi-final play off game in May. The youngster underwent a successful operation earlier this month and will now face a spell on the sidelines as he undergoes rehabilitation.

The promising 17-year old was a key part of the under 17s side that won the League Cup in May 2008 and made a big impact for the 1st team last season making 25 starts.
