We kick off the first of two successive home games when we welcome league leaders Forfar to Central Park on Saturday with a 3 p.m. kick off. In what will be a busy end to 2016 and start to 2017 four of our next five league games will be at home.
Tuesday night saw Gary Bollan's side beat Annan 5-1 at Station Park, after losing 1-0 at home to Arbroath on Saturday, to move five points clear at the top of the table with former Central Parker Lewis Milne hitting a brace with another former Cowden man Thomas O'Brien was also on target.
Also in the Loons squad are keeper Grant Adam, who picked up an injury on Tuesday, and Martyn Fotheringham who is now in his tenth season at Station Park.
After finishing bottom of League One last season Bollan's side made a solid start to the season winning their opening seven league games which included a 4-3 home win over us in August, where after being 3-1 down early in the second half we got back level only to lose out to a late goal.
For our own part last Saturday saw our four match unbeaten run come to an end with a 2-0 defeat at Annan which saw us drop back to eighth place in what is a tight league.
