How’s this for a cast list?!

Posted October 25, 2016

Phil ‘the Power’ Taylor, Andy Murray, Pele, Tiger Woods. And that’s just for starters! This Friday at Lochgelly Town Hall in the auction at Cowdenbeath FC’s Sportsman’s Dinner there are some absolutely wonderful opportunities to secure an item signed by these sporting greats as well as many others. There is a genuine matchworn Phil Taylor shirt – now imagine turning up in the pub for the darts match sporting that! Pele has signed a copy of his own autobiography as well as framed photographs. Meantime a Tiger Woods signed golf glove is an exceptionally rare item. Scotland’s own Wimbledon champion Andy Murray has also provided one of his very own racquets duly signed for the auction. Thus this isn’t your run of the mill affair – these are genuinely scarce signed souvenirs from some of the greatest sporting legends on the planet.

In addition, also being offered at the auction are (all bearing genuine autographs) – a Scotland rugby top; Craig Gordon’s goalkeeper jersey from the recent World Cup qualifier v Malta; a Scotland top signed by the current squad; Celtic top signed by the current squad; a darts fans collection - comprising signed Eric Bristow autobiography, signed and framed photo of Gary Anderson and a top signed by Eric Bristow, Gary Anderson, Raymond van Barneveld and Michael van Gerwen; a boxing aficionados collection – comprising signed photographs of Floyd Mayweather, Anthony Joshua, Frank Bruno and Tyson Fury; a top signed by Scotland and the World’s leading doubles player, Jamie Murray. Then for those whose appetite has been stimulated by the fare on offer there is also the opportunity to bid for and win a dinner for 4 at the Chop & Ale House at the Champany including aperitif, wine and digestif.

All this is on offer at Friday’s auction and if you are not attending and you see something you like you could contact a friend who is attending to bid on your behalf or arrange a proxy.
