Changes at Central Park
Posted September 9, 2016
The Cowdenbeath FC Board can now confirm the following comings and goings at Central Park.
Firstly, we say farewell to Jason Dair who is leaving the club and his post as First Team Coach. Our grateful thanks go to Jason for his service to his home town club and he also leaves with our best wishes for the future.
Returning to the club in a formal role is former Cowdenbeath FC Chief Executive/Secretary Alex Anderson who has now been appointed Club President - we are all delighted to see Alex come back to Central Park refreshed after a short break away. Alex is the first man ever to be appointed Cowdenbeath FC Club President in an active capacity. The late Charlie Gronbach and Davie Fowlis of course were designated as Honorary Life Presidents at Central Park as is current director Sandy Ferguson.
Finally, we are also pleased to be able to further strengthen the club's Board with Alan Smart now being appointed as a Director of Cowdenbeath FC. Alan is a well known face to many of our fans - a longtime Cowdenbeath supporter who originally hails from Lochgelly. A former pupil of Beath High School, Alan and his family live locally. Alan is aged 50 and he has many years of experience at a senior level in the Banking industry.
Welcome aboard Alan!
