Cowden manager Liam Fox today moved to strengthen his playing squad with the signing of 18 year old striker Aaron Murrell on a development loan transfer from Dundee United. The loan deal will initially run until 15 January 2017.
Aaron joined United in January 2016 after proving to be a very prolific goalscorer in the Lowland League for Spartans. He grew up in Portobello and attended the local high school. After playing with Leith Athletic, Aaron joined Spartans where he rapidly made his mark. Hibs and Livingston were interested but United boss Mixu Paatelainen swooped to sign Aaron after he scored a hat trick when on trial in a United bounce game.
We now give Aaron a hearty welcome to Central Park and wish him great success in the Blue Brazil Jersey.
