MATCH PREVIEW - ARBROATH (A)
Posted July 26, 2016
We conclude our Betfred Cup Group C games on Wednesday night when we face Arbroath at Gayfield Park with a 7.45 p.m. It's a case of just pride at stake in the final match for us after losing our opening three games.
Arbroath sit just above us in the table with a point from their opening two games that came in their opening match with Dundee United at Gayfield a 1-1, which they lost on penalties with former Cowden man Liam Callaghan miss the crucial spot kick on his debut. The match also saw another former Cowden player Josh Thomson make his debut.
Last Tuesday they went down 3-0 to Dunfermline at East End Park and conclude their fixtures with a game at Inverness on Saturday.
Both Chris Turner and Dean Brett will miss the match after picking up two bookings in the competition although Shaun Rutherford is now free to play after being banned on Saturday.
ADMISSION
ADULTS - £13
CONCESSIONS - £7
ADULT & CHILD - £15
Arbroath also advise that their hospitality suite in the main stand will be open from 6.45 p.m. as a bar with supporters of both clubs welcome.
