The AGM of the Fife FA was held on the evening of 28 April at Bayview.  There were a number of topics debated including the future of the Association founded back in 1882.  There was a wide ranging and constructive discussion.  It was concluded that the continuation of the Fife FA and the Fife Cup remained desirable for the Fife senior clubs.  Club representatives agreed to meet in the close season to consider an update to the Fife FA's objectives.  

 

The election of Club representatives/committee produced the following outcome:

 

David Marshall (East Fife) - Chairman

David Allan (Cowdenbeath) - Vice Chairman

Andrew Beveridge (Burntisland Shipyard)

Margaret Ross (Dunfermline Athletic)

Tom Phillips (Raith Rovers)

Jimmy Stevenson (East Fife) - Secretary

 

It was decided that the 2014/15 Fife Cup competition be abandoned unfinished whilst the 2015/16 competition saw East Fife deemed as winners after their 1-0 win over Cowdenbeath in the single match played.  The draw for next season's competition will be made at the next meeting of the Committee which will also consider format and suitable arrangements to ensure the competition is concluded each season.
