SNEDDON IN TEAM OF THE WEEK

It wasn't just Cowden fans and staff who recognised young keeper Jamie Sneddon's vital contribution to our 3-0 Ladbrokes League 1 win over Brechin City on Saturday.

Craig Fowler selected Jamie in his SPFL Team of the Week for the leagues official website and had the following to say.

Cowdenbeath eventually coasted to a 3-0 victory over Brechin but things wouldn't have been quite so comfortable were it not for a couple of cracking stops from 18-year-old Sneddon with the game still in the balance at 1-0. Cowden remain eighth in Ladbrokes League 1 but are finally finding their feet, going four games unbeaten after a bad start to the campaign.
