DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE PREVIEW - ALLOA ATHLETIC (A)

Posted October 17, 2015

The Development squad will be looking to get back to winning ways when they make the short journey to the Indrodrill Stadium to face Alloa on Monday night with a 7.30 p.m. kick off.

The Cowden youngsters have lost their last two games, both at Central Park, against Stirling Albion (0-3) and Raith Rovers (0-5) results which have seen them drop to second bottom in the table.

Alloa were early season league leaders after winning their opening two games against Berwick (2-0) at home  and East Stirlingshire (2-0) at Bannockburn but have now dropped down to fourth place.

They are still however unbeaten at the Indrodrill Stadium having also drawn with Raith Rovers (1-1) and Stenhousemuir (4-1).

The Shire win has seen their only point on their travels with other away games seeing defeats at Forfar (1-3) and Stirling Albion last Tuesday night (2-5).

In the Little Big Shot Scottish Youth Cup the Alloa youngsters beat Herriot Watt University 2-0 at Ricarton and now face Dundee United away in the Third Round.

For us this will be only our second away game having previously beaten East Stirlingshire a few week's ago at Bannockburn (2-1).

Taking charge on Monday night's game is Ms Lorraine Clark who will be assisted by Mr David Doig and Mr Philip McLaren.

Previewer: Andrew Mullen.
