MATCH PREVIEW - STENHOUSEMUIR (H)
Posted October 15, 2015
We kick off the second quarter of our Ladbrokes League 1 campaign on Saturday when we welcome Stenhousemuir to Central Park with a 3 p.m. kick off.
Both sides have had disappointing first quarters with Cowden sitting bottom of the table with seven points from the opening nine games while the Warriors sit two places and four points above us.
The previous meeting of the clubs back in late August saw Stenhousemuir run out 4-2 winners at Ochilview with goals from Colin McMenamin, Liam Henderson, Allan Smith and Alan Cook while Aldin El Zubaidi, on his debut, and Greig Spence replied for Cowden who had John Armstrong sent off in the second half.

COWDEN HOME FORM
Despite being bottom of the table our home record is a reasonable one, fifth best in the division, with wins over Albion Rovers (1-0) and Forfar (2-1) while we have drawn with Peterhead (2-2) and lost to Stranraer (1-2).

STENHOUSEMUIR AWAY FORM
Like us Brown Ferguson's side have found results hard to come by on their travels and only have one point away from home when they drew 2-2 at Peterhead on the opening day despite being 2-0 up after only ten minutes.
Since then they have suffered defeats at Forfar (1-4), Ayr (2-5) and Albion Rovers (0-2).
