MATCH PREVIEW - BRECHIN CITY (A)

Posted September 25, 2015

After two home games which yielded a draw against Peterhead and a win over Forfar last Saturday we are back on the road on Saturday when we face Brechin at Glebe Park with a 3 p.m. kick off.

This will be our first visit to Glebe Park since April 2012 when we fought out a 2-2 draw the week after we had clinched the Second Division title. Rory McAllister had put City two goals ahead midway through the first half but we fought back with goals from Marc McKenzie and John Armstrong.

Brechin boss Darren Dods has three former Central Parkers in his squad Gary Fusco, Andy Jackson and Dene Shields.

Its a game where something has to give, although we have been steadily picking up points at Central Park we are still to get any rewards from our travels while City picked up their first points on the season at  Peterhead last week and will be looking for their first home points of the campaign.

COWDEN FORM

We have been unbeaten in our last two home games but we are still looking to get our first away point of the season following defeats at Dunfermline (1-7), Stenhousemuir (2-4) and Airdrie (2-3).
