Its week 6 in Ladbrokes League 1 and we welcome Peterhead to Central Park for their first visit since February 2010 when the Blue Toon ran out 3-1 winners in a Third Division game with Martin Bavidge hitting a brace along with Barry Wilson while Jay Stein got our goal.

 

Despite putting in a good performance at the Excelsior Stadium last Saturday we left Airdrie pointless to remain in second bottom place in the table.

 

For Saturday's game captain John Armstrong will complete his two game suspension.

 

 

We have won just one of our opening five league games, with that win coming in our last home game against Albion Rovers courtesy of an early goal from Greig Spence.

 

Since then we have lost two successive away games at Stenhousemuir and Airdrie.

 

 

The Blue Toon sit in fifth place with eight points. So far they have beaten Stranraer (4-0) and Dunfermline (2-1), drawn with Stenhousemuir (2-2) and Albion Rovers (1-1) and lost to Airdrie (1-0).

Last Saturday Mr Munro was in charge of Annan's home win over East Fife in Ladbrokes League 2.
