MATCH PREVIEW - DAFC (A)
Posted July 31, 2015
After our narrow Fife derby defeat from Raith Rovers at Central Park last week we are back in derby action on Saturday when we meet Dunfermline in the opening round of the League Cup at East End Park with a 3 p.m. kick off.
Last Saturday's narrow defeat from the Rovers saw six players made their competitive debuts for us with Sam Orritt and Luke Armstrong getting their first taste of Scottish Football.
New Pars boss Alan Johnston has had an overhaul of the Pars squad since taking over in the summer and it will be another tough test for us as the countdown to Ladbrokes League 1 continues.
His side got off to a good start last week with a 4-1 win at Ladbrokes League 2 side Arbroath with Fayssal El Bakhaoui bagging a brace with Michael Moffat and Ryan Wallace also on the score sheet.
