SPFL Football Fans In Training 7-A-Side

On Saturday 27th of June, Cowdenbeath FC were invited to their second SPFL Football Fans In Training 7 a side tournament! Our Cowdenbeath FC team finished top of our group, with 2 wins and 1 draw and didn't concede a goal the whole group stage. 1-0 v Stenhousemuir, 0-0 v Kilmarnock & 3-0 v Hibernian.

We were then drawn against Swindon Town FC in the quarter finals, who we were beaten 5-2 by. Swindon Town then went on to win the tournament on penalties against Hamilton Accies FC. A brilliant day, and well done to all who organised and ran the event and a massively well done to our team!
