We reach the halfway stage of the Championship on Saturday afternoon when we host Dumbarton with a 3 p.m. kick off.

We go into the game in eighth place in the table with 14 points from 17 games, with the Sons two places and five points better off than us.

In the previous meeting of the sides back in early October they fought out a goal less draw at the Bet Butler Stadium.

Last Saturday’s live televised defeat at Falkirk saw a two win run for Ian Murray’s side come to an end.

The Sons have won two league games on their travels so far this season at Livingston (2-1) and Alloa (1-0). They also have had two away draws at Falkirk (1-1) and Hibernian (0-0).

The other four away games have seen defeats at Raith Rovers (1-3), Rangers (1-4), Hearts (1-5) and Falkirk (0-3)
