A goal three minutes into added time from captain Sean Higgins gave us a welcome three points at Palmerston Park on Saturday afternoon which lifted us out of the play-off position.

 

A flurry in the closing period of the first half on the Queens goal was eventually rewarded four minutes from the break when Calum Gallagher slotted home his fifth goal of the season.

 

However the young forward was unable to resume for the second half after taking a knock and was replaced by the returning Craig Sutherland who caused the home defence a few problems.

 

A late rally by the Doonhamers saw former Central Parker Derek Lyle head home an equaliser with four minutes left on the clock but three minutes into stoppage time Kyle Miller chipped the ball into the path of Higgins who coolly slotted the ball past Zander Clark to ensure our second win of the campaign over James Fowlers high flying side.
