MATCH PREVIEW – RANGERS (AWAY).

Posted December 4, 2014

Week 15 in the Championship sees us make our first league visit to Ibrox since September 1970.

In our previous game with the Gers this season we lost 3-0 at Central Park last month with Nicky Law giving them a half time lead before Kyle Miller headed into his own goal with David Templeton completing the scoring late on.
Once again on loan striker Callum Gallagher won’t be able to play against his parent club but new signing Jordan Halsman will go into the squad.

COWDEN FORM
After beating Livingston in our last league outing a fortnight ago we bowed out of the William Hill Scottish Cup at Falkirk last Saturday.

RANGERS FORM
Rangers currently sit in second place in the table eight points behind leaders Hearts and four ahead of third place QOS.
It has been a week of contrasting fortunes for Ally McCoist’s side who beat Premiership side Kilmarnock 3-0 in the William Hill Scottish Cup at Ibrox on Sunday but lost 3-2 at Alloa in the semi-final of the Petrofac Training Cup on Wednesday night after leading 2-0.
