Scottish Youth Cup - 4th Round

The draw for the fourth round of the Scottish Youth Cup was made on Wednesday and Cowden have been handed an away tie against Livingston with the game due to be played on or before Sunday 6th December.

The Almondvale youngsters, coached by former Cowden manager Brian Welsh, are currently joint leaders of the SFL Youth Division along with Dunfermline Athletic.

Both sides are seeded and did not enter the competition until the 3rd round with the Blue Brazil progressing thanks to a 5-1 home win over Peterhead while Livi defeated East Stirlingshire 7-0.

We have met Livingston once before in the Scottish Youth Cup losing 1-0 to the then SPL side at Central Park in October 2001 in a third round tie.

Meanwhile, the club passed its recent SFA audit with flying colours thanks to the hard work of Bobby Paterson, Keith Harvey and Scott Brewster.
