COWDENBEATH 1 RAITH ROVERS 3

 

Saturday's Fife derby proved another disappointing afternoon for us as we went down to a third successive Championship defeat. Mark Stewart gave the Kirkcaldy side the lead just short of the half hour and two goals in a six minute period in the second half sealed our fate with Lewis Vaughan heading home before Ryan Conroy fired home a long range wind assisted free kick.

 

Our goal came with virtually the last kick of the ball with Lewis Milne firing home his fourth goal of the campaign.

 

We have a break this week due to the international and resume our Championship fixtures on Saturday 13th September when we face Hibernian at Easter Road Stadium.
