LIVINGSTON 2 COWDENBEATH 1

 

It was a disappointing day at the Energy Assets Arena on Saturday for the travelling Cowden support as we went down to our first Championship defeat of the season.

 

After a goal less first half played in the driving rain and wind John McGlynn's side opened the scoring within 27 seconds of the restart through Danny Mullen and with 16 minutes to go Jordan White doubled their advantage.

 

Manager Jimmy Nicholl then went all out to salvage a point introducing Iain Campbell and Craig Sutherland and after Jon Robertson had come close hitting the bar Lewis Milne finally got a goal back in the last minute but it proved too little too late as time went against us.

 

Next up is a home game with Alloa on Saturday.
