Cowden Sign Two for the Future

Cowdenbeath FC boss Jimmy Nicholl has signed two more of their promising young footballers from the Clubs Youth Academy on full time contracts. Both players last season played for the Clubs Under 17 side but their form earned them games in both the Under 19 and Reserve sides as Cowden progressed to the final of the Scottish Under 19 Youth League Cup and semi final of the Reserve Cup.
Pictured signing up with Boss Jimmy Nicholl are on the left Kyle Mitchell and on the right Josh Thomson.
Kyle from Penicuik is a pacy forward while Josh from Glenrothes is a strong central defender.
Jimmy Nicholl said
"Both lads have ability and have worked hard to earn themselves a contract and with continued commitment and dedication, there is no reason why they cant go on and start knocking on the first team door in the not too distant future."
As part of restructuring within the Scottish game, both players will form part of the Clubs Under 20 set up which next season replaces the Under 19 and Reserve leagues.
