Matters continue apace as the new season approaches and work is ongoing across a number of fronts as we prepare for the 2014/15 Championship season. The club has recently been involved in its annual licensing audit by the Scottish football authorities. Particular kudos must go to groundsman Stewart Lownie, John Lints and Brian Lumsden for all their hard graft in amending the pitch dimensions. The key change is that the pitch has been widened and its dimensions are now 95m by 60m. So many people though have given freely of their time to help our club in conjunction with the indefatigable Darren Adamson! Thanks to you all.
We have enjoyed a season ticket sales level thus far not seen we suspect since the heady days back when we were in the top flight some 44 years ago. Given the ongoing demand we are pleased to be able to extend the Early Bird period for season ticket purchases for one further week to end on Monday 7 July 2014.
Thus to recap Season Ticket prices for 2014/15 are as follows:
Adult £230
Over 65 £115
Ages 13 to 16 £60
Age 12 and under £30
The Early Bird discount scheme though means that an Adult season ticket will be available at the discounted price of £210 if purchased on or before the 7 July. Over 65 tickets too are discounted to £105 during this same period.
The £210 Early Bird adult ticket price represents a £90 (30%) discount on the walk up price level for the 18 scheduled League games. The other sale categories also offer very significant discounts against walk up prices.
Walk up prices for 2014/15 will be as follows:
Category B Matches (scheduled SPFL matches v Alloa, Dumbarton, Livingston, Falkirk, Raith Rovers and Queen of the South).
Adult £16/Concessions £8
Category A Matches (scheduled SPFL matches v Rangers, Hibs, Hearts)
Adult £18/Concessions £9
Concession prices apply to over 65’s and under 16’s.
