Work Has Begun

Posted May 23, 2014

The club has wasted no time in planning for the future after its success in the playoffs.

Season ticket prices were set and with an early bird offer in place they prove to be great value with high profile games being held at Central Park next season.

The club can also confirm that long term sponsor Subsea Pressure Controls have again renewed their sponsorship of Cowdenbeath FC.  Company Director Neil Fentie was present, after flying in from Singapore, at Sundays win to agree the deal.  The deal sees us reach our 4th year in partnership.

The board of directors and staff at the club are delighted with the sponsorship news and are grateful for the fantastic partnership we have with Subsea Pressure Controls.

We can also confirm that work has also started in relation to our playing squad next season.  We are delighted to announce that despite other offers, our Captain, John Armstrong has agreed to sign a new deal at the club.

He has been followed by Thomas O’Brien, Chris Kane and Kenny Adamson.

Lewis Milne and Dean Brett have also agreed new 2 year contracts with the club.

A lot of work is still ongoing at the club around playing staff and we will bring you more as soon as we have it.

Unfortunately we have not renewed the contracts of Jamie Pyper and Seb Usai.  The club would like to thank them for their efforts whilst at Cowdenbeath FC and wish them every success in the future.

The club can also today confirm that our manager Jimmy Nicholl and assistant manager Lee Makel have also signed new contracts.

We have wasted no time in preparing for the fantastic season ahead and will continue to plan and aim for the high standards we have set for our beloved Blue Brazil.
