MATCH PREVIEW HAMILTON ACADEMICAL
Match day 29 in the Championship sees a second successive home game as we welcome second place Hamilton to Central Park on Saturday with a 3 p.m. kick off.
In the previous games this season, Accies have come out on top in the first two matches with us winning at New Douglas Park in the last meeting.
Back in September a goal early in the second half from Ziggy Gordon gave Accies a 1-0 win in our first visit to New Douglas Park.
The return game at Central Park in November saw Nat Wedderburn and Lewis Milne score to put us 2-0 up at the break but a crazy five minute spell midway through the second half swung the game in Hamilton’s favour with goals from Jesus Garcia Tena, Darrian MacKinnon and Gordon with Garcia Tena adding a fourth goal in stoppage time.
Our second visit to Hamilton in January saw us race into a 4-0 lead within a minute of the second half starting with the goals coming from Greg Stewart and Kane Hemmings who both hit braces.
However Accies staged a comeback and scored through Garcia Tena, James Keatings from the penalty spot, and Anthony Andreu.
HAMILTON FORM
Accies sit just a point behind leaders Dundee and eight ahead of third place Falkirk. They are currently on a seven game unbeaten run (6 wins & 1 draw) since they lost to Dundee at Dens Park on 8th February.
