Cowdenbeath FC are pleased to announce that the Club has been granted funding by the SPFL Trust to enable delivery of the highly successful FFIT Course which will kick off on Wednesday 16th April, 2014. The first year of Scottish Football Clubs involvement delivered a total weight loss of 2.3 tonnes and a total waist reduction of 2,400cm.
FFIT is a fun filled 12 week programme aimed at improving mens health and wellbeing, while providing them with a behind the scenes look at the Club. The FREE weekly sessions at Central Park are split between classroom health education and physical activity training, all sessions are delivered by Cowdenbeath Coaches using the Club facilities.
Cowdenbeath FC Youth player Aron Lynas who is a qualified Gym Instructor and FFIT Coach said “This is a great opportunity to help improve the health and wellbeing of our fans and I’m looking forward to hopefully the first of many Cowden FFIT Courses.”

The Programme is open to men aged 35 – 65 who have a trouser waist size of 38” or more.
