Deadline Day - Signing Updates

Cowdenbeath FC can also confirm that Sammy Stewart is our second signing of the day. 

Sammy is a Northern Irish central midfielder. He is known to Jimmy Nicholl having played under him when he was assistant manager at Aberdeen. 

The 23 year old was most recently playing with Ambassadors FC in his home country.

Defender David Cowan has left Central Park by mutual consent as the transfer window draws to a close. 'Cowser' was signed by Colin Cameron in September 2011 from Livingston and was a regular in our Second Division Championship season of 2011-12.

 In all the Cumbrian played in 48 games for us with ten coming this season, the last of which was the 3-3 against Raith Rovers at Starks Park in December.
