It was a busy Friday for manager Jimmy Nicholl as he completed two loan signings from Premiership clubs.

 

Experienced defender James Fowler (33) has signed a one month loan from Kilmarnock where he has spent all of his career since signing professional forms back in October 1997.

 

Also arriving on a deal until the end of the season is fellow defender Darren Brownlie (19) from Partick Thistle. Originally with Rangers as a youth, Darren had spells with Motherwell and Ayr United before joining the Firhill side in August.
