Its week three of the SPFL Championship and on Saturday we make the short journey out of Fife to play Alloa Athletic at Recreation Park with a 3 p.m. kick off.

This will be our first visit to the ‘Wee County’ since May 2010 when we of course beat the Wasps in the Second Division Play-Off Semi Final.

Since then the Wasps found themselves dropping to the Third Division but have bounced back in style under the leadership of Paul Hartley with successive promotions.

Following his red card last Saturday Grant Adam will be suspended for the game with Thomas Flynn taking over in the Cowden goal.
 

An injury time penalty saw Raith Rovers take all three points in last week’s derby which was our second successive Championship defeat.
 

The Wasps also suffered the pains of a last minute penalty last week when they went down 1-0 to Dundee at Dens Park.

The previous Saturday a goal from one time Cowden loanee Stephen Simmons gave them a 1-0 home win over Livingston.
