A Jamie Stevenson goal four minutes from the break gave us an invaluable win in our battle to avoid the play off spot. Rovers keeper David McGurn had twice denied Stevenson who had seen a long range shot and another free kick saved before he cracked home his 11th goal of the season.

 

In the second half we almost grabbed a second goal but a Greg Stewart effort took a deflection and clipped the outside of the post.

 

The win saw us move up to seventh place above Dumbarton on goal difference. The Sons however meet Falkirk at the Falkirk Stadium as the game was postponed on Saturday due to the Bairns William Hill Scottish Cup Semi Final with Hibs.

 

Next up for Cameron's side is THE game on the season on Saturday when we meet ninth place Dunfermline Athletic at East End Park with the Pars sitting three points below us in the table following their 15 point deduction after going into administration.
