MATCH PREVIEW – LIVINGSTON

After four successive defeats we will be hoping to get back to winning ways on Tuesday night when we welcome Livingston to Central Park, kick off 7.45 p.m.
So far this season Livingston have recorded the only win in the series of games between the sides with the other games ending in draws.
Back in October a last gasp goal from Lewis Milne gave us a draw at the Braidwood Motor Company Stadium despite playing most of the second half with ten men after John Armstrong had been sent off.
Keaghan Jacobs had opened the scoring before Milne’s 93rd minute leveller.
It was the same out come on Livingston’s last visit to Central Park in December when Marc McKenzie opened the scoring after a minute with Stefan Scrougall equalising with 20 minutes to go.
Our second visit to West Lothian in February saw us go down 3-0 to first half goals from Iain Russell, Anthony Andreu and Jesus Garcia Tena.

COWDEN FORM
Our run of defeats has seen us slip down the table to ninth place four points behind Dumbarton.
Two of those defeats have come at Central Park and both against league leaders Partick Thistle.
Our home league record so far this season is
Played 16, Won 4, Drawn 7, Lost 5, Goals For 26, Goals Against 29, Points 19.

LIVINGSTON FORM
In some ways it has been a strange season for the Livi Lions who have had three men in charge of the side this season, John Hughes who moved to Hartlepool United, Gareth Evans and current boss Ritchie Burke.
However despite the many back room changes they currently sit in fourth place and will be looking to get back into third place after losing that spot last midweek after a defeat from Falkirk.
On Saturday they ran out 3-0 winners at Dumbarton with 17 year old Kyle Landers scoring on his debut along with Paul Watson and another youngster Danny Mullen.
Livingston’s away league record this season is
Played 16, Won 7, Drawn 4, Lost 5, Goals For 23, Goals Against 26, Points 25.

PLAYER TO WATCH
Top scorer Iain Russell missed Saturday’s win at the Bet Butler Stadium on Saturday after being sent off against Falkirk but should be back in the squad for Tuesday’s visit.
Russell has scored 17 goals this season so far with 14 of them coming in the league.
