MATCH PREVIEW – FALKIRK
After three successive defeats from the top two Partick Thistle and Morton we are hoping to get back to winning ways on Saturday afternoon when we face third place Falkirk at the Falkirk Stadium, kick off 3 p.m.
So far results have been even with both teams winning at home after the first game of the season at Central Park ended in a draw.
Back on that sunny September afternoon David Weatherson gave the Bairns the lead before Lewis Coult quickly equalised.
The return game at Falkirk saw the home side run out 2-0 winners with Stewart Murdoch from the penalty spot and Lyle Taylor getting the goals before the break.
The Bairns returned to Central Park in February for what has been our biggest win of the season with John Armstrong (2), Kane Hemmings and Jamie Stevenson scoring in a 4-1 win after Lyle Taylor had opened the scoring for the visitors after just two minutes.
Since then manager Steven Pressley has departed to join Coventry City and this week his replacement Gary Holt was announced and will take over on Monday with Alex Smith and Stevie Crawford remaining in charge for our game.
COWDEN FORM
After three successive defeats we have slipped to ninth place in the Irn Bru First Division four points behind Dumbarton.

On Tuesday night they ran out 2-1 winners away to Livingston.
