COWDENBEATH 1 PARTICK THISTLE 2
After waiting almost 83 years to win at league game at Central Park two more goals from Kris Doolan ensured that Alan Archibald's side done a quick fire double in the space of four days.
Doolan who had scored two goals in Wednesday nights 3-0 win carried on where he left off in midweek opening the scoring for the table toppers. However Craig Moore's fifth goal in six games for us saw the teams go in level at the break.
Doolan grabbed the winner for the Jags midway through the second half although we were unfortunate not to get an equaliser in the last minute when Jamie Stevenson cracked a free kick off the underside of the bar with keeper Scott Fox pulling off a fine save from the rebound to deny us a point.
The result saw the Jags move four points clear at the top of the table following Morton's defeat against Raith Rovers. For us we remain in second bottom spot three points behind Hamilton Accies who went down 3-2 at home to Dumbarton who leapfrogged them in the table.
Next up is a trip to William Hill Scottish Cup Semi Finalists Falkirk on Saturday.
