MATCH PREVIEW – LIVINGSTON
After two home wins this week we play our only away game of the month on Saturday when we make the short journey over the River Forth to face Livingston at the Braidwood Motor Company Stadium with a 3 p.m. kick off.
In the two previous meetings this season both games have ended 1-1. Back in October on our last visit to West Lothian we had John Armstrong red carded early in the second half before Keaghan Jacobs opened the scoring for Livi, however young Lewis Milne grabbed a 93rd minute equaliser to salvage a point.
The return game just before Christmas saw Marc McKenzie score for us with barely a minute on the clock but Scotland under 21 internationalist Stefan Scrogall equalised with 20 minutes to go.
COWDEN FORM
Our wins over Falkirk and Dunfermline have seen us move up to seventh place in the Irn Bru First Division with 23 points from 22 games.
In our last away game we went down to a narrow 2-1 defeat from Partick Thistle at Firhill.
Our away league record so far this season is
Played 11, Won 2, Drawn 3, Lost 6, Goals For 13, Goals Against 16, Points 9.
LIVINGSTON FORM
Livingston sit in fourth place in the Irn Bru First Division some 15 points behind leaders Morton although they have played two games less than the Greenock side.
So far they have played six league games in 2013 winning three, drawing one and losing two.
Last Saturday they lost 3-2 at home to Dumbarton after beating the Sons 4-3 at the Bet Butler Stadium the previous week.
Livingston’s home league record this season is
