A goal two minutes from time from Lewis Hawke, son of Morton legend Warren Hawke, denied us a point at Cappielow on Saturday afternoon. Cowden held their own against third place Ton despite losing both Lewis Coult and Greg Stewart to injury leaving Marc McKenzie to play  a forward role for the closing 20 minutes of the game.

 

With Falkirk scoring an injury time winner to beat Hamilton Accies 2-1 at the Falkirk Stadium we now drop to seventh place in the Irn Bru First Division.

 

Next up for the first team is our William Hill Scottish Cup Fourth Round tie with St Johnstone at Central Park next Saturday.
